
Dear Daddu(2023)
It's a story of a 65-year-old man (Shantanu), who lived his life as a closeted gay man by sacrificing his love for the sake of his family's reputation. He lives alone in his house but things changes when his granddaughter starts living with him for her new job. Over the period of time, he develops a good bond with his granddaughter (Veena). One night when they both are drinking together, he finds the courage to tell Veena about his sexuality and his incomplete love story with Tanmay. Expecting that Veen's generation is mature enough to accept his sexuality without being judgmental. Veen's action shocks him completely as she does something which Shantanu never expected.
