Trivia

  • The film's title is inspired by a popular 1990s Indian TV comedy series about a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, but the movie itself is a horror thriller.
  • It was shot in just 18 days across locations in Mumbai and Lonavala, a hill station near the city.
  • Director Vishal Mishra stated the film explores the theme of 'unfinished love' through a supernatural lens.
  • The movie had a very limited theatrical release and quickly moved to digital streaming platforms.
  • Actress Sana Makbul, who plays Kavya, performed many of her own stunts for the intense sequences.
  • The soundtrack features a recreated version of the classic Hindi song 'Tu Tu Main Main' from the 1970 film 'Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki'.
  • This was one of the first horror films in 2023 to center its plot on a 'suicide pact' gone wrong.
