Antahpuram(1998)
Antahpuram is a 1998 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Krishna Vamsi. The film stars Soundarya, Prakash Raj, Sai Kumar, and Jagapathi Babu. It follows Bhanu, an Indian-origin woman from Mauritius who becomes trapped in her husband's violent feudal family in Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh. The story explores her struggle to escape with her young son. The film was inspired by the 1991 American film Not Without My Daughter. It won nine Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South, including Best Film – Telugu. Prakash Raj received a Special Mention at the National Film Awards for his performance. The film was released in 1998.

Storyline
Bhanu lives a happy life in Mauritius with her husband Prakash and son Raja. When Prakash takes them to his hometown in Rayalaseema, Bhanu discovers he is from a violent feudal family. After Prakash is killed, her father-in-law Narasimha refuses to let her leave with Raja. Bhanu must escape the palace of violence and return home.
