Storyline

During a nationwide pandemic lockdown, a man must travel a thousand miles to return his deceased friend's young son to the boy's mother. He faces the immense challenge of crossing the empty, restricted country.

• The film's story was inspired by real-life accounts of people undertaking long journeys during India's COVID-19 lockdown.
• Director Nitin Kumar Gupta reportedly used many non-professional actors to portray villagers and stranded travelers.
• The movie was shot on a tight schedule and budget, with much of the filming done in rural Uttar Pradesh.
• The lead actor, whose character walks the 1000 miles, underwent a physical training regimen to portray the exhaustion authentically.
