Trivia

  • The film was shot in just 21 days, mostly in a small town in Karnataka to keep costs low.
  • The director, B.M. Giriraj, is primarily known for directing Kannada television serials before this film.
  • The movie's special effects for the ghostly possessions were done by a team of only three visual artists.
  • It was released directly on an OTT platform and did not have a traditional theatrical run in most of India.
  • The story draws loose inspiration from folklore about 'churel', a vengeful female ghost from South Asian tales.
  • Lead actress Sanchita Shetty performed all her own stunts, including a scene where she had to crawl backwards down a staircase.
  • The film's soundtrack uses a rare classical raga to create an unsettling mood during the possession scenes.
