Toli Prema(1998)
Tholi Prema (transl. First Love) is a 1998 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by A. Karunakaran. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as Balu and Keerthi Reddy as Anu, with Vasuki Anand, Ali, and Nagesh in supporting roles. The story follows Balu, a carefree young man who falls in love with Anu at first sight, but struggles to express his feelings while she prepares to leave for Harvard University. The cinematography was handled by Y. Maheedhar and Chota K. Naidu, with music composed by Deva. The film was a super blockbuster at the box office and is considered a breakthrough for Pawan Kalyan. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and six Nandi Awards. The film was featured in the Indian Panorama section at the 30th International Film Festival of India. It was later remade in Kannada as Preethsu Thappenilla (2000) and in Hindi as Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (2001).

Storyline
Balu is a carefree young man who falls in love with Anu at first sight. He saves her life during a car accident, but cannot find the courage to tell her how he feels. When Anu gets admission to Harvard University and prepares to leave India, Balu must decide whether to confess his love or let her go.
