Trivia
- The film's title is a playful twist on the famous Tamil proverb 'Thalaikkavasamum 4 Nanbargalum', which humorously refers to the four essential friends one needs in life.
- Director V.M. Rathnavel is also a popular cinematographer, and this film marks one of his few directorial ventures in the thriller-comedy genre.
- Much of the movie was shot on location in actual dump yards and poorer neighborhoods of Chennai to capture authentic settings.
- The film's plot about friends funding children's education is loosely inspired by real-life charity work done by some youth groups in Chennai.
- A minor subplot involves a character learning to drive a garbage truck, which required the actor to get real training for the scenes.
- The movie had a very limited theatrical release and gained more attention through streaming platforms after its initial run.
- One of the child actors in the flashback scenes is the director's own nephew, making it a small family collaboration.
