Nirnayam(1991)
Nirnayam is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Priyadarshan in his Telugu debut. The film stars Nagarjuna and Amala in lead roles, with Murali Mohan, Sharat Saxena, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in supporting parts. The story follows Inspector Vamsi Krishna, who goes undercover to spy on a woman named Geetha in order to capture her supposedly criminal father. The mission becomes complicated when Vamsi falls in love with Geetha and later discovers that her father is actually innocent and has been framed by a more dangerous criminal. The film is a remake of Priyadarshan's own Malayalam film Vandanam, which was based on the Hollywood film Stakeout. It features a soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Ganesh Patro, Veturi, and Sirivennela. Nirnayam was dubbed into Tamil as Sambavam and into Hindi as Girafthari. The film was produced by D. Kishore under the Jayabheri Art Productions banner and presented by M. Murali Mohan.

Storyline
A sincere police officer goes undercover to spy on a beautiful woman, hoping she will lead him to her criminal father. But he falls in love with her, and when she discovers his true identity, she feels betrayed. To win her back and bring the real villain to justice, he must uncover a dangerous conspiracy.
