Storyline

Set against the ancient, rose-red ruins of Petra — making it the first Hindi film ever shot at the legendary wonder — Kajraare weaves a raw love story between a passionate singer and a bar dancer fighting to be seen beyond her stage. Pooja Bhatt directs this 2010 romantic drama with an unflinching eye for the messy, class-divided world of Mumbai's nightlife, where genuine connection feels almost impossible. Himesh Reshammiya and newcomer Mona Laizza bring an unlikely tenderness to two outsiders searching for something real amid neon lights and shattered expectations.

A singer's heart beats for a forbidden love.
