Legacy & Influence
Suma Bhattacharya is a supporting actress known for her work in Tamil cinema during the early 2010s. Her career appears to have been brief, with notable roles in films like 'Muran' (2011), where she played Linda, and 'Kudirithe Cup Coffee' (2011). In 'Muran', a psychological thriller starring Prasanna and Cheran, her performance contributed to the film's ensemble cast, which was noted for its suspenseful narrative. The film, while not a major commercial success, garnered a moderate critical response for its plot and performances. Her other known work, 'Kudirithe Cup Coffee', a romantic comedy, featured her in a supporting capacity, though the specific role is not widely documented. Based on the available filmography, her contributions to Indian cinema reside in her participation in these specific Tamil projects during that period. There is no widely recorded information about significant industry awards, pioneering roles, or a long-term career trajectory that established a major influence. Therefore, her impact is limited to her appearances in these films, which form a minor part of the broader landscape of early 2010s Tamil cinema.
