T. M. Jayamurugan is a Tamil cinema director and producer from Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, who founded his production house Manithan Cine Arts. He made his directorial debut with Roja Malare (1997), a romantic drama starring Murali and Arun Pandian. Beyond directing, he demonstrated versatility as a multi-hyphenate by also composing music for productions such as Adada Enna Azhagu (2009) and Thee Ivan (2023). Jayamurugan passed away on January 18, 2025, after a heart attack, leaving behind a body of work spanning nearly three decades in Tamil cinema.
