Biography
Ravi Raghavendra (known as Raghav) is a Tamil cinema actor and brother-in-law of superstar Rajinikanth, active in Tamil films and theatre since the 1980s primarily in character and supporting roles. He appeared in Varavu Nalla Uravu (1990), directed by Visu, playing the role of Ilango, and later took on the notable role of scientist Vikram Sarabhai in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022). He is the father of celebrated Tamil film music composer Anirudh Ravichander, whose debut was Podaa Podi (2012). Ravi Raghavendra continued working in big-budget productions including Kanguva (2024) and Coolie (2025).
