Biography
Mahesh Babu Pachigolla (also credited as Maheesh) is a Telugu cinema director known for helming feel-good romantic comedies, having trained as an assistant under director Krishna Vamsi. His debut film Ra Ra Krishnayya (2014), starring Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra, was a remake of the Hindi film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (2012). His second directorial, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty (2023), starring Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty, earned nominations at the 69th Filmfare Awards South including Best Film (Telugu), with Naveen Polishetty winning Best Actor (Critics). He followed this with Andhra King Taluka (2025), produced by Mythri Movie Makers, continuing his work in mainstream Telugu commercial cinema.
