He directed A Film by Aravind (2005), its sequel Aravind 2 (2013), and Dr. Chakravarty (2017), establishing a niche in Telugu slasher and psychological thriller films. Before his film career, Suri spent approximately eight years as a ghostwriter in Mumbai, crafting scripts for crime and suspense television serials on Doordarshan in the 1990s.
