Raj Madiraju is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer working predominantly in Telugu cinema, best known for directing the 2023 black-and-white spy thriller Grey: The Spy Who Loved Me. He won the Nandi Award for Best Story Writer for the 2011–2012 film Rushi, and his directorial debut was the 2000 film Uncle produced by comedian AVS. His signature stylistic choice in Grey: The Spy Who Loved Me made it the first Telugu film shot entirely in black and white in over 45 years, employing a noir aesthetic to heighten themes of espionage and deception.
