Biography
Tarun Madan Chopra is an Indian Hindi cinema director and writer, best known for directing the 2014 musical thriller W, a film addressing sexual violence against women in India. He co-wrote the script for W with Daboo Sardar Malik and also produced the film, contributing Rs. 2.5 crore to its production. Before feature films, Chopra directed over 2,500 episodes of non-fiction television and 100+ advertisements, having trained under veteran directors Mukul Anand, Ravi Chopra, and B.R. Chopra. He later directed Avaidh (2023) and State vs Ahuja (2024), continuing to work on socially themed projects in Hindi cinema.
