Leander Paes is an Indian tennis legend turned actor, best known as one of the greatest doubles players in the history of tennis, who made his Bollywood debut in the 2013 Hindi film Rajdhani Express. He won an Olympic bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games and amassed 18 Grand Slam doubles titles (8 men's doubles, 10 mixed doubles) over his professional career. In Rajdhani Express, directed by Ashok Kohli, he played Keshav, an errand boy for a gunrunner who steals weapons and boards a Delhi-to-Mumbai train to escape his criminal past, though his dialogue was dubbed by actor Amitosh Nagpal. The film marked a one-off acting venture for Paes, who stated that appearing in Bollywood had always been on his personal bucket list.
