Pammi Somal is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer working in Hindi (Bollywood) cinema, best known for writing and directing the comedy film Mummy Punjabi (2011) starring Kiron Kher, Kanwaljit Singh, and Jackie Shroff. She also directed Na Jaane Kabse (2011) and has earlier writing credits on films such as Ardhangini (1994) and Sanam (1996). Prior to directing, she served as Assistant Editor of Cine Blitz magazine and worked extensively as a Bollywood journalist, holding diplomas in Mass Communication, Journalism, and Creative Writing from Punjab University. She founded Creative Steps Productions in 2006, through which she produced her directorial projects.
