Actor Vijay took time off his busy schedule from shooting of his movie and visited the families of Thoothukudi shooting victims’ families last night. The actors visited their houses personally and enquired about the incident. He consoled the families on the occasion and gave RS one lakh as financial assistance. No sooner the incident happened on 22 May, Vijay expressed his anguish at the incident. He is busy shooting for how next directed by A R Murugadoss. He visited personally Thoothukudi yesterday. Vijay is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer, who works in the Tamil film industry. Son of film director and producer S. A. Chandrasekhar, he started his career as a child actor in the movie Vetri and later made his debut as a lead actor in the 1992 film Naalaya Theerpu. He launched the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, a social welfare organisation in 2009.
