For the past few days, there has been a lot of talk about DMK Supremo Kalaignar Karunanidhi. His health condition declined a couple of days ago, following which he was admitted at Kauvery Hospital. Many politicians and film personalities have visited the hospital to inquire about Kalaignar's well-being. This includes the likes of Rajinikanth, Sarathkumar, Sivakumar and Suriya. Next in line to visit the senior politician is actor Vijay. Already few film directors like Bharathiraja, Vetrimaran and Ram inquired about DMK Supremo Kalaignar Karunanidhi's health. Now, Thalapathy Vijay arrived at the hospital a few minutes ago and is expected to stay for about 15 minutes with the DMK family.

Vijay is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer, who works in the Tamil film industry. Son of film director and producer S. A. Chandrasekhar, he started his career as a child actor in the movie Vetri and later made his debut as a lead actor in the 1992 film Naalaya Theerpu. He launched the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, a social welfare organisation in 2009.
