Adah Sharma is a Mumbai-born Indian actress who works predominantly in Hindi and Telugu cinema, best known for her debut in the 2008 Hindi horror film 1920 and her later blockbuster The Kerala Story (2023). She made her Telugu debut opposite Nithiin in Heart Attack (2014) and went on to appear in major Telugu productions including S/O Satyamurthy (2015) and the thriller Kshanam (2016). Her role in The Kerala Story, a film directed by Sudipto Sen, became the highest-grossing female-led Indian film at the time with a ₹375 crore box office collection, earning her a Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Most Promising Actress in 2024. Trained in Kathak from age 3 at the Natraj Gopi Krishna Kathak Dance Academy, Sharma is known for physically demanding roles spanning horror, action (Commando 3, 2019), and drama across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil industries.
