Anushka as 100 kg lady in Inji Iduppazhagi

Inji Iduppazhagi, the comedy flick on obesity with the focus on Anushka Shetty is the next in her queue of bilinguals after the success of Baahubali. Male interest played by Arya, this film is titled as ‘Size Zero’ in Telugu and directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the Telugu director. The script is penned by the director’s wife Kanika and produced by PVP Productions as their tenth film.

Nagarjuna will have a cameo appearance in the Telugu version while Karthi will take on the same role in Tamil. Shruti Haasan was approached for the second heroine but later replaced with Sonal Chauhan, the Jannat actress. In contrast to the title, Anushka has put on 100 kg weight for her role and will play both as an obese women and a weight reduced fit one. Arya will play a fitness trainer who will eventually fall in love with her.

The theme of the movie is to stress that happiness is more important than being Size Zero. The shooting is completed and the post production works are at a full pace to release the movie soon.
