Nithiin (born Nalla Nithin Kumar Reddy) is a Telugu film actor who debuted in the 2002 action film Jayam, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. After a prolonged slump of nearly 12 consecutive box-office failures, he staged a comeback with Ishq (2012) and the blockbuster Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde (2013), both of which earned Filmfare nominations. He is closely associated with romantic entertainers directed by Sukumar (Heart Attack, 2014) and Trivikram Srinivas (A Aa, 2016), the latter becoming the highest-grossing film of his career. His more recent work includes LIE (2017), Bheeshma (2020), and the Telugu remake Maestro (2021), cementing his sustained presence in Telugu commercial cinema.
