Ko 2 to hit theatres soon

The Bobby Simha starrer Ko part 2 is nearing its shooting completion with only a few songs and scenes left out to be shot. The movie is directed by Sarath who has been an Assistant Director in Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa 2. Elred Kumar who produced the prequel is funding this flick too. The Darling fame Nikki Galrani is the female lead and Prakash Raj, Bala Saravanan are doing supporting roles.

Making Ko as a franchise was the idea of the producers but K.V.Anand did not make it to directing the sequel. The title track ‘Unnai Maatrinaal’ from this movie was penned by Na.Muthukumar with the quotes of late Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam. This single song will be released on the Independence Day as paying tribute to him.

Leon James, who made a musical debut in Kanchana 2 will be composing music for this film. The final schedule of shooting was started on August 11th in Chennai and the makers are planning to release it on September 17 with Vijay’s Puli.
