Shilpa Shetty is a Hindi film actress who debuted in Bollywood with Baazigar (1993) alongside Shah Rukh Khan, earning Filmfare nominations for Best Female Debut and Best Supporting Actress. She delivered a standout performance in Phir Milenge (2004), playing an HIV-positive woman, which earned her a Filmfare Best Actress nomination, and appeared in the ensemble drama Life in a Metro (2007) directed by Anurag Basu.
