Poonam Bajwa is an Indian actress of Punjabi origin who works primarily in Tamil and Telugu cinema, known for her roles as a lead and supporting actress across South Indian film industries. She made her acting debut with the 2005 Telugu film Modati Cinema and broke into Tamil cinema with Seval (2008), later appearing in commercially successful films including Romeo Juliet (2015) alongside Jayam Ravi, Aranmanai 2 (2016), and Kuppathu Raja (2019). She is recognized for playing glamorous and supporting roles in high-profile productions such as NTR Kathanayakudu (2019), the N.T. Rama Rao biopic directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Before her acting career, she was crowned Miss Pune in 2005, which launched her into modeling and subsequently into films.
