Dunki, Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Surpasses 400 Crore at the Box Office

The team behind the movie Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has happily shared that the film has earned more than 400 crores globally. Even though the comedy-drama, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, received mixed reviews when it came out on December 21, it has still been a big success.

Red Chillies Entertainment, one of the production companies involved, announced that Dunki has made a total of Rs 400.40 crores worldwide.

In a recent interview, director Rajkumar Hirani talked about how the movie is doing at the box office. He mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan, the lead actor, is very brave because he knew that people have been liking mass-appeal movies lately, but he still chose to do Dunki.

Dunki, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, tells the story of people who illegally migrate using the risky 'donkey route' in hopes of a better life. Alongside SRK, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover.
