Watch the Teaser for Vijay Deverakonda's Family Drama

The official teaser for Family Star was revealed on Monday. It was supposed to come out in the evening, but there were technical problems, so it got delayed by a few hours. Family Star is written and directed by Parsuram, who also directed Sarkaru Vaari Paata in 2022 with Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh.

This movie marks the second time Vijay Devarakonda has teamed up with Parsuram after their 2018 film Geetha Govindam.

Also joining the team is music composer Gopi Sundar, who will be creating the music for Family Star. This movie also marks the first time actors Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Devarakonda are working together. Family Star is Mrunal's third movie, following Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna.

Family Star is made by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. KU Mohanan is in charge of the movie's camera work, with Marthand K Venkatesh handling the editing and AS Prakash overseeing the production design. Originally planned for Sankranti 2024, the movie will now premiere in theaters on April 5th.
