Filming for Vishal Thupparivaalan 2 will start in May.

Actor Vishal, who is waiting for his action movie Rathnam, directed by Hari, to come out, shared news about the filming of Thupparivaalan 2, a detective thriller.

At a Rathnam promotional event, Vishal mentioned that shooting locations for Thupparivaalan 2 are decided. However, he wants to wait and see how Hari's film performs, as Rathnam is releasing on April 26, before moving forward.

The actor announced that Thupparivaalan 2 will be shot in Azerbaijan, Malta, and London, starting from May 5 in the capital city of England.
Thupparivaalan 2 will be Vishal's first time directing a film, taking over after director Mysskin left due to creative disagreements.

Hari is directing the movie, and it will be produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, Alankar Pandian, and Karthik Subburaj. They're working together under Zee Studios, Stone Bench Films, and Invenio Origin.

Rathnam is set to hit the screens on April 26.
