Lingusamy of Tirupathi Brothers after having films with Kamal is next moving on towards Suriya. Recovering slowly from the loss of Uttama Villain, the production house is planning to re-stabilize its prestigious status. Yet the buzz of full length comedy of Kamal with Sundar C is not officially confirmed whether Tirupathi Brothers will bankroll it.\r\n\r\nIn this scenario, a new movie that has Suriya roped in by the director Vinoth for Sathuranga Vettai 2 was given to them. It is decided to go on floors from the Summer of 2016 after Suriya has completed with Singam 3. \r\n\r\nBeing the second film for Vinoth, he is making a franchise of the earlier black comedy-heist Sathuranga Vettai. But still, the director constantly denies that it is not a sequel to the first film and will be completely different.

Narain Linguswamy is an Indian film director, screenwriter and film producer in Tamil cinema based in Chennai. Lingusamy made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starrer family-drama Aanandham in 2001 and followed it up with films Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005), Paiyaa (2010) and Vettai (2012).He and his brother N. Subash Chandrabose have also produced films through his production company, Thirupathi Brothers.
