Why the title of Varun Tej’s Loafer changed ?

The first commercial movie for Varun Tej is upcoming with the shooting kickstarted from July. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, he wanted to have the movie titled as Loafer. But the producers Ram Gopal Varma after watching few scenes want the title to be changed. Hence it was re-named as Maa Amma Seethamaalakshmi.

The film is an emotional drama with mother sentiment as focus and hence the name. The 1990’s actress Revathi plays the mother of Varun and scenes between them will stand out. Disha Patani is making her debut as the leading lady. Brahmanandam and Pavitra Lokesh are also playing supporting roles.

The story revolves around Varun being the thief and then turning to a good man. The shooting is nearing the completion and might be wrapped up soon. The makers are planning to release it for the Dussehra.
