Lingusamy, one of the renowned director, screenwriter and producer of Kollywood has decided to make a venture into the Bollywood. His debut would be the remake of Paiyaa that was released in 2010 by Karthi and Tamannaah. In Hindi, it would feature Vidyut Jamwal who also played an important supporting role recently in Anjaan directed by Lingusamy.\r\n \r\nWhile he is about to pursue Sandakozhi 2 with Vishal, he left for Mumbai for the initial talks to set the team. When interrogated about the female lead, the director said that the idea is in the preliminary stages and will confirm later. It is also rumoured that UTV Motion Pictures will jointly produce this action flick with Thirupathi Brothers.

Narain Linguswamy is an Indian film director, screenwriter and film producer in Tamil cinema based in Chennai. Lingusamy made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starrer family-drama Aanandham in 2001 and followed it up with films Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005), Paiyaa (2010) and Vettai (2012).He and his brother N. Subash Chandrabose have also produced films through his production company, Thirupathi Brothers.
