Shruti Haasan sings a Tamil rap in Vedhalam

Shruti Haasan as a singer is known for ballads and rock songs and that seems to be her comfortable zone. Though she doesn't like to listen to rap or hip-hop songs, the young lady has taken a bold step in her upcoming Vedhalam to sing a rap. The music composer for the movie Anirudh Ravichander seem to have convinced her in singing it.

The lines start with ‘Don't you mess with me’ and the lyrics video that was released on Anirudh’s birthday went trending. It looks like Shruthi warning her beau not to play with her feelings and that video reached 1,82,620 views on YouTube. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the movie is slated to release in the next month for Diwali.
