VIP-2 which is given a title Thanga Magan stars Dhanush, Samantha, Amy Jackson in the leads. Radhika Sarathkumar, director K.S.RaviKumar and Sathish are touted to play supporting roles.

Dhanush had a golden year to say with Anegan and Maari a back-to-back hits followed by his world acclaimed productions Kaaka Muttai and Visaranai. Thanga Magan, the third movie in this year is currently in the post-production stages and the fans expected the release for Diwali.

But the actor announced the date to be December 18 with the music album to reveal by the start of November. The action entertainer Kathakali starring Vishal and the crime thriller Gethu by Udhayanidhi are also scheduled to hit the screens on the same date. It's going to be a tough fight between the three actors for who will win the heart of Tamil audiences.w
