Farah Khan to be awarded at Cairo International Film Festival

It is a Festival season that all the celebrities are packing their bags and getting ready to head for National & International Film Festivals. One among them is Cairo International Film Festival which is held once in a year at Cairo, Egypt.

This is the 37th year for the first International Film Fest in the Arab countries and started on November 11 and goes upto 20th of this month. The special news is that Farah Khan, the Bollywood multifaceted actress cum dancer cum director will be honoured with Faten Hamama Excellence Award.

She is honoured for the Excellence in Indian Cinema. It is a great honour and privilege for an Indian actress to be crowned in an Arab nation. There is a double treat awaiting for her. Apart from honouring her, they are going to screen one of her directed movie Om Shanti Om.

In fact the opening night of the Fest had playing of songs from Om Shanti Om and when Farah Khan arrives there, a feast of performance of her choreographed songs will also be done to welcome her !!
