Pakistani Ad by Nargis Fakhri caught in controversies

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri is the brand ambassador for the cellphone Mobilink and has recently been tangled in a controversy. It followed after her ad poster on the cover page of a Pakistani Urdu daily titled Jang.

The poster was like the actress holding the mobile phone and lying down in a blood red coloured dress which was considered unethical in the conservative Islamic country. Several negative comments started to set out on fire in social media after its publish.

Nargis released a press statement in reaction to it as the ad was to bring about communicating the brand of Mobilink and not to agitate any moral issues. Also she shares that her team and she were unaware of having this visual to be used in a newspaper front page.
