Soggade Chinni Nayana joins the Pongal race

Nagarjuna starrer Soggade Chinni Nayana has got clearance from the censor board and finalised its release date after a cloud of confusion. It has got a U/A certification and was announced to hit the screens on January 15.

This family entertainer features Ramya Krishnan and Lavanya Tripathi in the female leads. Produced by the actor’s Annapurna Studios and directed by debutant Kalyan Krishna, the movie runs in a village backdrop.

There were rumours earlier that it will back up due to the tough competition raised by Nannaku Prematho and Dictator being released along with it. However Nagarjuna has been convinced to try out his luck this time and settled it for this Pongal.
