Gethu shown green flag with a clean ‘U’

Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer Gethu has recently cleared the censor formalities with a U certificate. Produced by his Red Giant Movies, it has also got the advantage of 30% tax exemption. Now the movie is all set to hit the screens on January 14 on the Pongal day.

Touted to be an action thriller, the trailer and album composed by Harris Jayaraj had received good responses from the audiences. This movie will be first of its kind for Udhayanidhi Stalin whom we have seen mostly doing romantic roles.

Directed by Thirukumaran, Amy Jackson plays the female lead while Vikranth as the baddie. Sathyaraj will be seen in a pivotal role as Udhayanidhi’s father and Karunakaran as his cop friend. The film was shot largely in Kodaikanal and is anticipated to give us a chill treat.
