Ilaiyaraaja’s 1001st album signed for Gautham Karthik
Muthuramalingam is an upcoming movie for Gautham Karthik and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. Directed by Raja Durai, the movie marks another special occasion of 1001st film for Ilaiyaraaja for his crafted music.
The legendary writer Panchu Arunachalam will be the lyricist for all the songs in this movie who is coming to work with Maestro after 9 years. In fact it was Mayakannadi in 2007 where the duo teamed up.
The director is making his directorial debut through this film who had earlier worked in Dhanush’s Padikathavan as an assistant director. Global Media Works will bankroll the flick and the cast consists of Singamuthu, Singam Puli & Vivek to take care of humour.
Apart from them, veteran actors like Radha Ravi, Suganya, Suman and Rekha will be seen in supporting roles. The sniper who was seen in Thani Oruvan, Vamsi Krishna will play a crucial role. It is not sure whether he is the antagonist of the story. Stay tuned with Woodsdeck to know more updates.
