A popular star reprises Madhavan in Irudhi Suttru remake

Madhavan’s bilingual movie Irudhi Suttru has hit the screens on January 29 whilst its Telugu remake has also been confirmed on the same day. The team has been selected to be Venkatesh in place of Madhavan and will be helmed by the same director Sudha Kongara.

Venkatesh seems to have been impressed from watching the film in the special screening and agreed to feature in the Telugu version of it. Also the look of Venkatesh for an ageing boxer will also suit well. It will be bankrolled by his brother Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions.

The female lead is not confirmed whether Ritika Singh will be retained or the team goes for another. In Kollywood, despite its release along with another expected film Aranmanai 2, Irudhi Suttru is doing a good business at box office as of now.
