Vidya Balan about to sign Kahaani 2

Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani released in 2012 was much welcomed for the uniqueness in script and the bold performance of the lady in a woman-centric role. There were talks in 2013 itself for making a sequel to this thriller.

But there were discrepancies between the director Sujoy Ghosh and the producer Jayantilal Gada as the script needed a bit more financial budget. It is now materialising after 3 years and they have reported to come back positive with some adjustments in the making.

The director has confirmed that it will definitely be Vidya balan playing the lead role. In this regard, she has also wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming TE3N and ready to sign for Kahaani 2.
