Director Prabhu Solomon who is having his upcoming movie Rail in the post-production works has confirmed about his next venture. It would be a sequel to Kumki, the 2012 super hit movie for Lakshmi Menon and Vikram Prabhu’s debut.\r\n\r\nThe director is currently finalising the cast and crew members for his team and he reported that he need to decide whether to retain them or go for a new one. Anyhow it will be made with a huge budget and the production house may be Thirupathi Brothers again. \r\n\r\nMeanwhile Rail is anticipated to hit the screens by May or June month and after that only talks on Kumki 2 can surface again. Also the actor is busy filming Wagah with Haridas director G.N.R.Kumaravelan and Veera Sivaji with Thagaraaru maker Ganesh Vinayak.

Prabhu Solomon is an Indian film director who has primarily worked on Tamil films. After making his debut in 1999, he had a middling career before rising to prominence with the success of the romantic tragedy film Mynaa (2010).
