Rajini Murugan Kannada remake gets a title

Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan has sold its Kannada remake rights to producer Ramu who had earlier bought and made the remake of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. This movie is titled as Raj Vishnu after the names of the legendary Kannada actors, Rajkumar and Vishnuvardhan.

It has actor Sharan in the lead role reprising Sivakarthikeyan. Veteran actor Ambareesh will play the character done by Rajkiran and Chikkanna will be for humour in place of Soori. It is notable that Sharan-Chikkanna duo were the lead actors in the VVS remake too.

To be helmed by director K.Madesh, the movie will get on floors later in this month. Writer Janardhan Maharshi will pen the dialogues. Presently the hunt for leading lady is on and some sources are expecting that it could be Rachita Ram.
