GV Prakash Kumar’s Pencil gets a release date

Pencil was the first movie that marked the debut for G.V.Prakash Kumar to acting before Darling. However the release got delayed much and finally a word has come from the makers that they are putting on efforts to release it. Directed by debutant Mani Nagaraj and produced by Kalsan Movies, the theatrical rights are now bought by PVS Cinemas.

They are the ones who are making arrangements for Pencil to see the limelight on March 25. The music composer will be seen as a school boy in this film and the leading lady Sri Divya also as a school girl. Shariq Hassan, the son of actors Riyaz Khan and Uma Riaz will also make his debut in a supporting role in this school thriller.

Other actors like VTV Ganesh, Urvashi, Abhishek Shankar and T.P.Gajendran will be a part of the cast. Music composed by the actor himself, it had 8 tracks that was released on February 19, 2015. However there were no critical reception to it when compared to GV’s other albums. On the other hand, his next film Enakku Innoru Per Irukku will also hit the screens in this Summer.
