Maestro’s 10001st album released

Oru Melliya Kodu directed by A.M.R.Ramesh of Vana Yudham fame had the audio launch that took place on March 20. The tunes were composed by Ilaiyaraaja and this marks his 1001st album after Tharai Thappattai. The album has only 3 tracks with one song sung by the Isaignani himself.

The movie is a bilingual made simultaneously in Tamil & Kannada and the songs are made in Kannada version too. It is an unofficial remake of the Spanish crime thriller El Cuerpo meaning ‘The Body’ and the story revolves around a police officer investigating on the murder of an actress.

The director shares that the movie’s plot will make the audience to be pinned to their seats throughout the film. Arjun plays the cop role and Manisha Koirala as the actress. Shaam is pitted as the antagonist and Aqsa Bhatt, Neha Saxena are in the supporting roles.

The Malayalam movie Vettah which is also based on the same Spanish movie was released already on February 26. The shooting was completed by December and the post production works like procedure to get censor certification was going on. Soon the team is expected to announce the release date.
