Song recording works roll out for Vikram 53

Vikram’s upcoming movie after the sci-fi thriller Iru Mugan is Garuda directed by Thiru of Naan Sigappu Manithan fame. This happens to be Vikram 53 to say and will be a pucca mass entertainer in the lines of Saamy.

The music will be composed by Girinandh who is debuting as music director in Garuda. Even before the shooting, the works on the music album has been started with a single. The tunes have been composed and the recording is likely to start on March 30. The director himself has shared the details of it in his Twitter space who is much impressed to work with the debut Giri.

Produced by Silverline Film Factory, a lavish set was already erected in a 100 acre land at Sriperumbudur in the outskirts of Chennai. The first schedule will kickstart at the location soon after the actor completes with Iru Mugan. The makers have zeroed Kajal Agarwal to play the female lead opposite Vikram for the first time.

The team will also move to Pollachi, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Lucknow & outside of India to Oman and few other middle East countries to finish the filming. Mahesh Manjrekar who was last seen in Thala’s Aarambam as the villain will also play the baddie here. The movie is touted to be an action thriller that will be wrapped up in a 60 day flat schedule.
