Check out the new title for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film

The official Telugu remake of Ilayathalapathy’s blockbuster hit Kaththi featuring Chiranjeevi had its title revealed on April 3. ‘Katthilantodu’ is the name of it and the actor will be canning dual roles. V.V.Vinayak who remade the Tamil film Ramana as Tagore in 2003 with Chiranjeevi will direct this film.

The Telugu remake rights were purchased long back by Tagore Madhu who will present this film. The actor’s son Ram Charan will bankroll this flick under Konidela Productions. It is likely to go on floors from May 1 after an auspicious pooja done by the mid week of April.

The other details regarding the leading lady and crew members are yet to be unveiled. There are rumours that Nayanthara will be zeroed in for romancing with him. Also there are minor changes made in the script to suit with Chiranjeevi’s character and presently the pre-production works are at full swing.

This is the actor’s 150th film which took 4 years for him to decide upon the story. There is much more interesting things waiting for his fans. Chiranjeevi will sport a handlebar moustache and he is getting it ready for past few months.
