Iraivi Censored & Release date confirmed

With just few days left for the release of Karthik Subbaraj’s yet another masterpiece Iraivi, the director opens up on the plot of the film. It is a simple drama focussing on women we see around in daily life. Their priorities and how they are looked at with no difference whatever class or background they belong to are being highlighted.

The story also talks about women’s freedom and how men look at it & women use it. Rather it is not directly preaching on women empowerment but give us a different look on the issue. The title Iraivi also mean the Roman Goddess representing Women. Anjali, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Pooja Devariya are the leading ladies of the film.

The male leads are Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and S.J.Suryah. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by C.V.Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainments, it will hit the screens by June 3. Presently the post production works are going on and got cleared from the censor board with a clean U/A certification.
