 The CineMAA 2016 awards for 2015 were held in Hyderabad on Sunday(June 12, 2016). 'Baahubali' dominates CineMAA Awards 2016 with 13 awards. Also Junior NTR, Charmee Kaur win big. The event also witnessed Chiranjeevi’s comeback.

Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, producer, politician and a member of the Indian National Congress. His younger brother Pawan Kalyan and son Ram Charan are also actors in Tollywood.His another younger brother Nagendra Babu and brother-in-law Allu Aravind are film producers.He was the Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Prior to politics, Chiranjeevi has attended the Madras Film Institute, and had worked primarily in Telugu cinema, in addition to Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. He made his acting debut in 1978, with the film Punadhirallu. However, Pranam Khareedu was released earlier at the box office.
