Updates on Iru Mugan release date

Vikram’s sci-fi thriller Iru Mugan has neared the finishing line and is currently in the last leg of shooting. Starring Nithya Menon and Nayanthara as the leading ladies, the makers have decided to fix the release date and the date to unveil the trailer. They had started to work on the trailer and will be released by the first week of July.

Also this flick is likely to hit the screens on August 12 which will be followed by the 3 day Independence Day weekend. Directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Thameens Films, the film is much anticipated from the hard working actor who had been delivering average movies in the recent past. Music has been scored by Harris Jayaraj and the audio launch will also take place by July midweek.

The team is presently shooting at Thailand after completing schedules at exotic locations in Malaysia and Kashmir. The crucial part of the film and the climax scenes are being shot there covering the remaining 10% of the filming. Also two romantic songs between Vikram and Nayanthara will be filmed at the Phuket beach and Bangkok.
